Finally received an email

Telling me that the order for dates, mangoes etc. I placed on Saturday is out for delivery.

That email came at about 16.30 so I think it’s safe to say that I didn’t miss the delivery whilst I was at work. It should get here tomorrow then so I’ll sit tight indoors again. Better call Philip to say that I’ll pick up my suit on Friday.

I wonder what took them so long.

I realised yesterday

Why shaving had become such a horrible pain.

The oil I had been using was mixed with lemon juice and had been working well, shave and after-shave all in one. However as time had gone on the ratio of two parts oil to one part lemon had changed, the lemon part becoming relatively stronger. So it happened that I was shaving my head with what was almost 90% lemon juice.

Ow, shan’t try that again in a hurry.
